Remodeling 101

We at Renovations Home Center strive for excellence!  We put forth every effort possible to ensure that your remodeling experience is as non-invasive as possible.

We have composed a short list of do’s and don’ts that will help us both survive the project, and by doing so we can create a long lasting relationship.

Keep your eye on the prize - Once it's all said and done you will have a top notch job completed to your satisfaction!

Communicate - You should be the #1 priority for your remodeler. Communicate your needs and desires, but please communicate with the office not the employee on the job. We ask you to let them work.

Put your ducks in a row - Be sure that you are clear of the entire scope of the job and we both have it in writing about what is to be completed. If anything is added or changed, make sure a change order request is completed. Therefore this will help keep items from falling through the cracks.

Don’t count your chickens - We put forth great effort to ensure that the job is completed on budget and our contract proposal is constructed in a very clear and concise manner. Unfortunately, from time to time, we come across situations that are entirely out of our control, but will need to be rectified at their discovery.

Clean and pristine - Let me remind you of #1 “Keep your eye on the prize.” This is a construction site. We will be destroying your house! Don't worry though, we will put it back together. If at all possible, take a long vacation to the destination of your dreams for the length of your project. We will call you when we are finished.

Patience is a virtue – Your project will be a top priority from the day of commencement. Your needs, wants, and desires will be thought of on a daily basis. Now with that being said and made clear, you must remember we have said that to others as well. We make every effort possible to fulfill yours, as well as other customers dreams in a timely manner. Be patient and keep your eye on the prize!

Who’s the boss – Remember “I am the Boss” “You are the customer.” Let me control the project. Do not communicate your wants and desires with the help. Please let them work. Communicate with the office or the project manager. That’s what we are here for.

Relax – If you are unable to take the before mentioned vacation and absolutely have to experience the destruction of your prized possession, remember “Relax” and “This too shall pass." Refer back to #1. We love what we do and we would like to keep it that way.
